→ Upon booking, a Rental Agreement must be signed before any reservation is confirmed. Simply walk up to any Nashville B-Cycle station, swipe your credit card and pick out your red bike! The closest B-Cycle station to the will be in 12South (about a 20 minute walk away). Nashville’s bicycle sharing program has been a huge success with locals and tourists. The closest route to the studios will be #8. Very reasonable fares and the wide range of routes make the bus a cheap and easily navigable choice for visitors. The MTA (Metro Transit Authority) Buses run all over Metro Nashville and even some surrounding counties. There are so many taxi companies that we really cannot recommend any one over another, and we encourage you to investigate rates and reviews to find one that suits your needs. See the ride share option above, taxis are available however few and far between and can be quite pricey in Nashville. Pro traveler tip: download all apps to your phone so you can compare prices and get the cheapest option! They are easy to call anytime day or night. There are rideshares all over the city from Uber, Lyft, and even Earth Rides (Tesla cars only). Please keep in mind that currently there is a new building being constructed next door to this building so there are limited sidewalks to use at this time. There are great local eateries, cafes, and bars nearby worth exploring within a 5-minute walk just North or South of the condo on 8th ave. Head to East Nashville, West End, Green Hills, Belmont Blvd., Vandy. Check out the cool bars and amazing restaurants. The Melrose area is a 5 minute drive to downtown Nashville but it's also a cool spot in its own right. It's typically a 10 minute or less Lyft ride to downtown or if you're up for it, an extended walk (guests tell us about 40 min). **Please keep in mind that there is a new building being constructed next door to this building so there are limited sidewalks to use at this time.** A great local music venue, the Basement, is up the street as well about a mile away. Rose, Sinema, The Sutler, The Smiling Elephant, 8th and Roast, Craft Brewed, Melrose Billiards, and more. There are a number of tasty local restaurants and a few fun bars near by such as Cilantro (across the street), M.L. The street has been increasingly rising as one of Nashville's hot spots but hasn't yet been overtaken by the crowds you'll find on Honky Tonk Row (Broadway). The condo is located in the Melrose/8th Ave area. We let our guests have their space but if needed, will be around to help. Additional parking can be found up the street from the complex. There is a parking lot on site with enough spots for 1 car per unit. You'll have access to the entire unit, laundry facility, & the pool during open season (roughly Memorial Day thru September). **The pool is open seasonally, roughly Memorial Day Weekend thru September.** It's only 3 miles from Honky Tonk Row, a 7-10 minute Lyft ride. The pool is literally outside your doorstep and the studio itself is in the heart of the Melrose/8th Ave neighborhood central to where ever you want to be in Nashville. What makes the studio desirable are two main features: the pool and location. The complex is a bit older so don't expect a fancy building. The kitchen has been renovated with stainless steal appliances added (no dishwasher). There is a queen size bed, small table, TV with cable, and queen sofa bed. The studio mimics the size of a motel room but has the amenities of a small apartment. Our condo is a great option for those looking for a spot near downtown and wanting to stay on a budget. The building and condo may bear its age, but the space has character & is the perfect little spot for anyone looking to stay close to downtown on a budget. This unit sits on the first floor of a 2-story 1950's restored motel.
